200 Day Moving Average
The S and P 500 index is made up of of the 500 most well capitalized stocks. It is a leading market indicator.
Moving averages are important short and long term technical points. The S and P 500 held the 100 day moving average of 2708 today.
The best long term indicator is the 200 day moving average. It is now 2770. When the S and P hits the 200 day moving average, there is value existing in stocks. There are other indicators included in our system, but this is an important one to watch.
